We got this mud kitchen for our kids and it’s been a fun addition. The wood is pretty lightweight, which actually makes it safer if it tips over, and all the edges are smooth with no sharp corners.
Putting it together took about an hour, and the installation video from the manufacturer was very easy to follow. There was a little dust on the wood at first but a quick vacuum took care of it.
I like the L shape design since it feels more stable. The stove knobs make a nice clicking sound. The sink is also bigger than expected and can be used with real water, not just for pretend play.
We keep it outside but under a covered area since I believe it’s better to place wooden toys where they won’t be directly exposed to rain or sun to help extend their life outdoors. It comes with some basic pots and it’s easy to pair with other kitchen toys. Inside a corner, it can fit 1 to 3 kids, but outdoors in an open space, it can accommodate 3 to 4 kids at the same time.
